Lower Duwamish Sandpiper Habitat Surveys:
Grette Associates provided the lead biologist for spotted
sandpiper surveys on the lower Duwamish River, as part of the Phase 2 Remedial
Investigation of the Lower Duwamish Waterway.
Oak Woodlands Habitat Assessment, Lakewood, WA:
Grette Associates biologists conducted a wildlife
habitat assessment focusing on Western gray squirrel use of garry oak stands in
Lakewood Washington. The site was surveyed for habitat suitability and gray
squirrel presence to evaluate the effects of site development.
Blair Waterway Salmon
Monitoring, Port of Tacoma:
Grette Associates conducted three years of juvenile
salmon sampling effort to fill data gaps on juvenile salmon utilization in
portions of Commencement Bay during the period form February 15 to March 15. The
sampling resulted from an agreement between the Port of Tacoma and WDFW as basis
for expanding the allowable in-water work period.
