The biologists in the Tacoma office of Grette Associates have been working in
Commencement Bay and throughout Western Washington for over 18 years,
building relationships with our technical strength and commitment to quality.
We focus on nearshore marine and freshwater aquatic environments allowing us to
keep astride of the changing science, and regulatory atmosphere, which helps us
to inform the regulatory process.
Every discipline of Grette Associates services is represented in Tacoma.
Our office of 11 biologists provides a capacity to serve projects of every
scale. Our wetlands biologists provide delineation, permitting, design
assistance and mitigation services for both marine and freshwater projects in
the Puget Sound Basin, the Washington coast and the lower Columbia River.
The Tacoma office provides aquatic and shoreline permitting for Ports, Cities,
private industrial and water dependent clients. We conduct research study
design and implementation to advance the understanding of the Puget
Sound nearshore environment. Our office has a six member dive team with
advanced capabilities. Finally, every person in the Tacoma office is
dedicated to working together with each other and our clientele to ensure high
quality work and unparalleled standards of professionalism.
